Recycling Service Available for all Kendall County Residents

Prepare your recyclable materials:

  • Wash or rinse out metal containers.
  • Recycle individual items in appropriate collection bins, do not bag your items.
  • Please Do Not contaminate the collection bins with food items, waste, or non-recyclable materials. 

Materials Accepted

  • Aluminum - rinsed aluminum cans, clean foil pans, clean aluminum foil
  • Steel/tin cans - clean steel/tin cans. Please discard steel/tin cans that are not clean. Labels may remain on cans.
  • Cardboard - All items must be flattened with a maximum dimension of 3ft. Moving, shipping, packing, cartons and cereal boxes are accepted. Brown grocery and paper feed sacks are accepted.

Materials NOT Accepted

  • Hazardous Materials - Including but not limited to paint, pesticides, herbicides, motor oil, petroleum products, etc.
  • Plastic - No plastic products are accepted at this time.
  • Glass - No glass products are accepted at this time.
  • Paper - No paper products such as newsprint, magazines, packing accepted at this time.
